The Contact Room serves as a vibrant hub where artists, agents, and artistic companies exhibit and engage in discussions about bookings and touring opportunities with presenters.
Performance Works is a flexible space with a wooden floor surrounded by impressive wooden beams, and flanked by large roll-up doors to let in the gorgeous scenery surrounding the building. There are two washrooms with wheelchair-accessible stalls located in the lobby. Take a tour of the venue here.

The Contact Room is open 15 minutes before scheduled hours to allow exhibitors to prepare.

Booth Map
A map of the Contact Room layout, including booth numbers, will be included in the Pacific Contact Program distributed to registered delegates at the conference. It will also be available on our website in September.

Access & Security
You must wear your conference badge to have access to the Contact Room and other conference venues.
The Contact Room is locked during non-operating hours. As an exhibitor, you must be at your booth in the Contact Room during operating hours. The room will be open 15 minutes before scheduled operating hours to allow exhibitors to prepare before presenters arrive.
Please take personal items, including valuables, with you, as there is no access to this space after operating hours.

Booth Tips
We will provide a small step ladder. Please do not stand on the booth or chairs to hang banners or signage.
Bring headphones if you want visitors to listen to music or watch videos.
We will signal when the Contact Room 15 and 5 minutes prior. Please pack up quickly, as other conference events often follow Contact Room times.
Booth Info
- Booths are set up for tabletop displays.
- Table dimensions are 4 ft long by 2 ft wide and 2.5 ft tall. Note that the tables are 8ft long, so your 4ft will be measured and marked.
- The black drape behind the booth is approximately 8 ft high.
- Tables cannot be removed to accommodate floor-to-ceiling displays or other objects. Everything you bring must be placed on the table or hung from the pipe and drape.
- Posters can be hung on the drape pipe using S-hooks. We will have a limited number of S-hooks available.
- The table skirt will be black, and the tabletop will be white.
- Booths DO NOT have access to electricity.
- Giveaways at your booth are allowed. Perishables, such as fruit, cheese, or alcoholic beverages, are not permitted.
- A shared charging station will be available in the room.
- Please advise ASAP if there is something unusual about your setup.
BC Live reserves the right to request that you modify your setup if there are safety or other concerns.

Getting to Performance Works
You can get to Granville Island by bus, aquabus, car, foot, or bike. If you’re driving there, be aware that parking is limited and you should leave lots of time to get on and off the Island during peak times. Parking is strictly enforced, so be sure to pay for enough time.

Loading / Unloading
While there is parking on Granville Island, there is no designated venue parking. Paid parking is available at the Cartwright Street Outdoor Lot, located beside Performance Works. A limited number of dollies/carts will be available for load-in/load-out.
