The Next Gen represents BC Live’s commitment to supporting and providing access to young people in the performing arts sector in BC.
In 2016, on its 40th Anniversary, the BC Touring Council launched the Next 10 Legacy Fund to support youth from across BC, who were interested in working or volunteering in live performing arts, to attend Pacific Contact. We are grateful to the past donors of the Next 10 Legacy Fund.
BC Live has since expanded our vision from The Next 10 Legacy to The Next Gen, representing our ongoing commitment to supporting and providing access to young people in BC’s performing arts sector.
2024 Next Gen Program
The 2024 Next Gen program will launch on Monday January 8, 2024 on our website. Members will be invited to submit an application to nominate a youth working or volunteering in the performing arts in BC. They are eligible to receive complimentary registration (not including meals) and up to $500 to support travel and accommodation to attend BC Live’s Pacific Contact 2024 conference in Kelowna. A limited number of subsidies will be available.
