Supporting Youth in the Performing Arts
The Next Gen represents BC Live Performance Network’s commitment to creating opportunities for young people in the performing arts sector by providing financial support for their attendance at Pacific Contact 2026, BC’s annual showcase conference for the performing arts.
Opportunity for Youth to Attend
BC Live members are invited to nominate a youth who is working or volunteering in the performing arts in BC to attend Pacific Contact 2026, October 1-4, in Nanaimo. They are eligible to receive up to $500 in travel and accommodation support, as well as complimentary conference registration (total value of $1,000). Nominators must be current BC Live members registered for Pacific Contact 2026 or plan to register.
Youth are defined as those aged 19-30. Priority will be given to those who have not participated before. A limited number of subsidies are available.
