This week, Canada’s Regional Development Agencies (RDAs), including FedDev Ontario, PrairiesCan, FedNor and ACOA, launched the Build Communities Strong Fund – Local Impact Stream, delivering a total of $1 billion to support projects focused on improving community infrastructure across Canada.
A sub-stream of the Build Communities Strong Fund (BCSF), RDAs will invest in community infrastructure that Canadians use every day and generate economic benefits — including cultural spaces, community buildings and recreation facilities and innovation hubs.
This includes new construction or improvements, including expansion, renovation, retrofit, climate adaptation, or replacement of existing assets, for projects normally up to $1 million. Learn more about project eligibility, funding, application deadlines and more details now.
