BC Live is offering a limited number of bursaries to presenters and festival members who participate in block booking to attend a BC festival OR to attend the International Market of Contemporary Circus, July 7-10 in Montreal, Quebec.
Attend a BC Festival
Ten bursaries of $500 each are available to presenters and festival members who participate in block booking. Presenters and festival representatives must live a minimum of 100 km from the festival they wish to attend.
Suggested festivals include but not limited to: 2 Rivers Remix, 5X Fest, Arts Wells Festival, Indian Summer Festival, Kaslo Jazz Etc. Summer Festival, Mission Folk Music Festival, Salmon Arm Roots and Blues, Surrey Fusion Festival, the Vancouver International Children’s Festival and the Vancouver Folk Music Festival.
International Market of Contemporary Circus – July 7-10, Montreal, Quebec
Five bursaries of $1,000 each are available to all presenters and festival members in BC who are looking to book circus acts for their series/season.
Priority will be given to presenters/festival representatives who are black, a person of colour, or Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, and/or Inuit). Bursaries may be used to contribute to travel, accommodation, registration/tickets, and other expenses associated with attending. All bursaries must be spent before September 30, 2025. Participants must submit a brief post-event report with photos/images that will be used by BC Live in our communications and on our website.
Apply below by Thursday, April 17. Successful applicants will be notified by Monday, May 12.
