The Next Gen

Supporting Youth in the Performing Arts

The Next Gen represents BC Live Performance Network’s commitment to creating opportunities for young people in the performing arts sector by providing financial support for their attendance at Pacific Contact, BC’s annual showcase conference for the performing arts.

Opportunity for Youth to Attend

BC Live members can nominate a youth working or volunteering in BC’s performing arts sector to attend Pacific Contact 2027. They are eligible for up to $1,000 in travel and accommodation support, plus complimentary conference registration (total value of $1,500). Nominators must be current BC Live members registered for Pacific Contact or plan to register.

Youth are defined as those aged 19-30. Priority will be given to those who have not participated before. A limited number of subsidies are available.
