As part of Canada-Ireland 180, the Irish government is offering funding to Canadian presenters to attend showcase events and festivals in Ireland, as well as funding support to attend the Irish Music Event at CINARS in Montreal in November 2026.
Canada – Ireland 180 aims to highlight the diversity of contemporary Irish arts and culture beyond what most Canadian audiences are familiar with. The program will also fund Irish arts across all disciplines (dance, theatre, music, etc.) to tour to festivals, events, and venues in 2027 as part of existing programs and seasons.
CINARS
Funds will be provided to presenters to attend The Biennale CINARS happening in Montreal from November 9 to 14. Presenters will have the opportunity to attend an event that highlights contemporary Irish talent. Funding support includes travel and accommodation.
Festivals & Events in Ireland
The fund will also provide financial support to presenters for expenses, including travel and accommodation, related to attending showcase events and festivals in Ireland, including those listed here.
Presenters are invited to express their interest in attending these events. Funds will be dispersed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please complete the interest form here by March 27.
