This Illuminate Peer-to-Peer talk on September 18, 2024, featured David Warburton, who spoke about how the Port Theatre’s Discovery Series transitioned to commissioning and presenting new work by emerging artists from Vancouver Island. Participants learned about steps to introduce professional coaching and mentorship, building partnerships and collaborations within the community, and how cultural practices and care informed their discovery process.
